The US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, said that a new country for Palestinians could be in another Muslim country, not in Israel. He said Muslim countries have a lot of land. He asked why the Palestinian state must be in the same place as Israel.

Huckabee also said that the US does not want a Palestinian state right now. He said the culture must change first. He thinks it is not a good time to talk about a new Palestinian state because there is a war.

Some countries, like the UK and Australia, punished two Israeli ministers. They said these ministers said bad things about Palestinians. Huckabee said this was a bad decision. The war in Gaza started after Hamas attacked Israel. Many people have died in Gaza since then.
