Ukraine’s president, Mr. Zelensky, and the US had a meeting in Switzerland. They talked about how to stop the war with Russia. Both sides said they made some progress, but there are still many problems.

The biggest problem is about land. Russia wants Ukraine to say that some land now belongs to Russia. Ukraine does not want to do this. Ukraine says it is not fair to lose land because of war. Ukraine also wants to join Nato to feel safe, but Russia does not want this.

The US and Ukraine will talk more. Mr. Zelensky and US President Trump may meet soon. Other countries in Europe also want to help, but it is not easy to find a solution. The talks will continue, but peace is still far away.
