A man drove a car at people and used a knife to attack them at a synagogue in Manchester. This happened on Yom Kippur, a very important day for Jewish people. Two Jewish people died, and four others are in the hospital.

The police came very quickly. They shot the man because he was dangerous and had something that looked like a bomb. The police also arrested two more people. Many people were inside the synagogue, but they were safe because they did not let the man come inside.

The Prime Minister and the King said they are very sad about the attack. The police will now protect more synagogues in the country. Many people feel scared and sad because this happened on a special day for Jewish people.
