The US defence secretary, Pete Hegseth, has fired the head of the Defence Intelligence Agency. His name is Jeffery Kruse. Two other top military leaders also lost their jobs.

The government did not say why these people were fired. Some people think it is because of a report about attacks on Iran. The report said the attacks did not stop Iran’s nuclear plans for long. President Trump did not agree with this report.

President Trump has fired other people before when he did not like their reports. Some people are worried about this. They say it is not good to fire people just because they do not agree with the president.
