Lithuania has plans to move people to safe places if Russia attacks. Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius said his country will fight and will not give up. He said the government may move older people out of cities. It also wants to stop long lines of cars during an emergency.

Lithuania is a small country near Russia and Belarus. It shares a border with Kaliningrad, which is part of Russia. Last week, NATO pilots shot down a drone in Lithuania’s airspace. Lithuania said the drone came from the direction of Belarus, but officials do not know where it started.

Lithuania joined NATO with Estonia and Latvia in 2004. NATO members agree to help one another if another country attacks them. Drones have entered the airspace of these countries several times since Russia started its full war against Ukraine. Lithuania will now keep preparing for different dangers and work with other NATO countries.
