A court in Dominica found two American men guilty of killing a Canadian couple. The men are Jonathan Lehrer and Robert Snyder Jr. The couple were Daniel Langlois and Dominique Marchand from Quebec, Canada. Police found their bodies in a burned car in late 2023.

Langlois started a computer animation company. Its work helped people make famous films like Titanic and The Matrix. He and Marchand lived in Dominica from 1997. They helped local people and opened a luxury hotel there.

Lehrer owned land next to the couple’s 200-acre hotel property. He and Langlois had argued for years about a road between their properties. Lehrer said this argument did not make him kill the couple. The court has not yet said how long the two men will stay in prison.
