Four women accuse Jared Leto of sexual crimes

Four women say actor and singer Jared Leto did sexual acts or made sexual threats when they were teenagers. The events happened between 2002 and 2016 in places including California, Las Vegas, and London. Leto was in his 30s or 40s at the time. Ten women have now shared stories about him. Four other women say he made sexual phone calls to them when they were young.

One woman says Leto sexually attacked her in a motel bathroom when she was 17. Another says he threatened to attack her in a London hotel when she was 19. A third woman says she had sex with him in California when she was 17 and he was 34. California law says a person must be 18 to agree to sex. A fourth woman says Leto asked her sexual questions on the phone when she was 16. She says his lawyer later sent her a paper asking her not to talk, but she did not sign it.

Friends and family say some women told them about these events at the time. Two men who worked with Leto’s band also say staff felt worried when he met teenage girls. Leto, now 54, has not answered these new claims. He denied other similar claims in 2025. His band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, has concerts planned in Europe and the UK next spring.
