Judge drops terrorism charges in New York murder case

A judge in New York said Luigi Mangione will not face terrorism charges. The judge said there is not enough proof for these charges. But Mangione will still go to court for murder.

Mangione is accused of killing Brian Thompson. Thompson was the boss of a big health company. The police say Mangione shot Thompson on a street in New York City.

Mangione says he is not guilty. If the court says he is guilty, he can go to prison for many years. The judge said the trial will start in December. Some people outside the court showed support for Mangione.
