President Trump makes new travel ban for more countries
16 hours ago

President Trump has made a new rule. People from some countries cannot come to the United States. These countries are Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, Syria, and people with Palestinian Authority passports. Some other countries like Laos and Sierra Leone also have new rules.
The government says this rule is to keep the United States safe. They say some countries do not check people well before they travel. They also say there are problems with crime and terrorism. The rule will start on January 1.
Some people can still come to the United States. People who live in the United States, have special jobs, or play sports can come. If someone has a good reason, they can ask for special permission. The rule will stay until the countries make better checks and work with the United States.
