The Israeli navy stopped some boats that wanted to bring food and help to Gaza. People on the boats wanted to help people in Gaza. Greta Thunberg, a famous climate activist, was on one of the boats. The navy took the people from the boats to Israel. The Israeli government said the people are safe.
Many people in other countries are not happy about this. Some people in Greece, Italy, Germany, Tunisia, and Turkey made protests. Some leaders, like the president of Colombia, are angry and want Israel to let the people go. Some people from Ireland and other countries were also on the boats.
Israel says it does not want the help to go to Hamas, a group in Gaza. Many groups want to send food and medicine to Gaza, but it is very hard. The United Nations says there is not enough food in Gaza. Many people want Israel to let more help go to Gaza.
