A man went to a church in Michigan. He drove his car into the church. Then he started to shoot people and made a fire in the building. Four people died and eight people got hurt. Many people were inside the church when this happened.

The police came very fast. They shot the man outside the church and he died. The police said the man used something to start the fire. Some people in the church helped children to stay safe. The police are still looking for more people inside the church.

The police and the FBI are trying to find out why the man did this. Many people are sad and worried. Leaders in Michigan and in the United States said this is very bad. They want people to pray for the families and for everyone who was hurt.
