Botswana does not have enough medicine and medical equipment. The president of Botswana spoke on TV and said this is a big problem. He said the government will spend a lot of money to fix it, and the army will help bring medicine to hospitals.
Botswana has less money now because it sells fewer diamonds. Many people do not have jobs, and some people are poor. The health minister said there is not enough medicine for people with cancer, HIV, and tuberculosis. Some people cannot get surgery because of this problem.
