A court in Los Angeles heard new information about the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. She was 14 years old. Singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is accused of killing her. He says he did not do it. A judge is now deciding if he must go to trial.

Police found messages between Burke and Celeste. The messages say Celeste became pregnant and ended the pregnancy. She was 13, and Burke was 19. Other messages started in August 2022, when she was 11 and he was 17. Police also say Burke’s phone had sexual pictures of her. They say blood in his home and garage came from Celeste.

Police found Celeste’s body in Burke’s Tesla car in September 2025. Her family last saw her at his home on 3 April 2025. Prosecutors say Burke killed her because she could tell people about the sexual abuse. He faces seven charges, including murder and sexual abuse of a child. The court will hear more information on Monday.
