US attacks Iran again as Trump gives a warning

US forces attacked Iran again on Wednesday. They carried out two groups of attacks during the day. One attack lasted 90 minutes. The US hit military sites, air defence systems, missiles, drones, and places near the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait is a narrow sea route that many oil ships use. Iran also attacked US military sites in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. Jordan stopped eight drones. No one there was hurt.
The new fighting came on the fifth day of attacks between the two countries. President Donald Trump told Iran that it “better behave.” He said the US may attack bridges and power stations if Iran does not return to talks next week. Iran’s negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said Iran may not follow last month’s peace plan if the plan does not help Iran. He also said Iran must keep control of its actions in the Strait.
The US started stopping ships from entering or leaving Iranian ports again on Tuesday. It stopped two business ships and attacked another ship. Iran warned that it may close other oil and gas routes used by the US and its friends. Oil prices have risen because very few ships now use the Strait. However, Iran freed US citizen Dena Karari, and Trump thanked Iran. The two countries may talk again, but more attacks could happen first.
