Trump threatens attacks on Iran’s bridges and power plants

US President Donald Trump said the US may attack Iran’s bridges and power plants next week. He said Iran must return to talks with the US. The US and Iran have attacked each other for four days. Trump said US officials told Iran to make a deal. Iran said stronger US attacks and limits would not make it return to talks.
The US has started to stop Iranian ships from using Iranian ports again. It has also carried out more attacks on Iran. Iran attacked US military places in Bahrain and Jordan. It also attacked two ships from the United Arab Emirates. One worker from India died, and eight people were hurt. Kuwait said it stopped Iranian attack drones, and Bahrain warned people to go to safe places.
The fighting has almost stopped ships from using the Strait of Hormuz, an important sea route for oil. Oil prices have risen. Trump first planned to charge ships a 20% fee to use the route, but he later ended this plan. He said Gulf countries would instead make large business deals with the US. Iran says it still controls the strait. More attacks may happen next week if the two countries do not start talks.
