Iceland, Spain, Ireland, Slovenia, and the Netherlands will not go to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2026. These countries do not want to join because Israel will be in the contest. The people and the TV stations in these countries do not agree with Israel’s place in the show.

The TV station in Iceland said many people in Iceland do not want to join Eurovision next year. They said the contest is not happy or peaceful now. They also said they asked the group that runs Eurovision to not let Israel join, but the group said no.

Israel has been in Eurovision for many years. Some people do not like that Israel is in the contest because of problems in Gaza. Israel’s TV boss said it is not good to stop Israel from joining. He said Eurovision should be for everyone.
