Vladimir Putin talked to Donald Trump on the phone. Putin said he will answer because Ukraine attacked Russian airbases with drones. Trump said this phone call will not stop the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Ukraine wants more help from the United States. Ukrainian leaders want more weapons and stronger actions against Russia. They also want the war to stop, but talks between Russia and Ukraine did not bring peace.

Putin and Trump also talked about Iran. They both said Iran should not have nuclear weapons. Trump said Iran is slow to answer about stopping its nuclear program. Putin said he will help talk to Iran.
