Ukraine sent more than 100 drones to attack air bases in Russia. The attack happened on June 1. The drones hit places very far from Ukraine, even near the Arctic Circle and in the east of Russia.

The drones were hidden in trucks. The trucks went to places near the air bases. The drivers did not know about the drones. When the trucks stopped, the drones came out and flew to the air bases. The drones damaged many Russian planes. Some of these planes are very important for Russia.

Ukraine said this attack took a long time to plan. The president of Ukraine said the attack was a big success. Russia said some planes were damaged, but Ukraine said many planes were destroyed. People in Ukraine were happy about the attack.
